The All Souls Choir and Music Director Anthony Edwards will present Dream of Freedom, a choral suite by Evan Mack featuring the poetry of Langston Hughes (1902-1967). Langston Hughes, born in Joplin, MO, was an American poet, novelist, and playwright whose African-American themes made him a primary contributor to the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s. He continuously fought for social justice and racial equality through his literature.
